This is likely Isabel Asbury and her husband C. D. Asbury on the porch of Eva Bell Barber and Richard Neely Barber Sr’s home on Love Lane in Waynesville, N.C. They are attending the wedding of her brother, Genatus Robertson (Red) Easley and Mary Ashworth Barber Easley where C. D. Asbury was the best man. The photograph is from film that was brought to Sherrill’s Studio for developing, but the prints were never picked up. The name written on the unclaimed envelope is Barber. Sherrill’s studio was founded by George Dexter Sherrill (1879–1931) in 1902 and was the first photography studio in Haywood County.
