In this letter of October 29, 1945, Laura Kephart writes her son Leonard Kephart and shares that Margaret came up for an unexpected visit while Cornelia’s family was visiting, including Susie and Roger Tull. They plan on taking her back to their house in Lansing for Thanksgiving. She mentions that they all went to Boonville because Barbara was getting an operation to have her appendix removed, but she had already left for the hospital in Rome and all went well.
