Description

A group of attendees of the Biltmore Forest Festival stand around and sit in a carriage, waiting for a ferry. The Biltmore Forest Festival was held on the Biltmore Estate in 1908 and hosted by Dr. Carl Alwin Schenck, forester and founder of the Biltmore Forest School. Dr. Schenck invited foresters, industry professionals, and any interested lay persons from across the South to attend the festivities.
