Description

This photograph illustrates woodcarvings made by the woodcarvers' cooperative which was one of the first economic development projects for the John C. Campbell Folk School. This group later became known as the Brasstown Carvers. The photograph was taken by Doris Ulmann in 1933 or 1934.
