Description
This photograph depicts a bedspread believed to have been sold through Allanstand Cottage Industries during the 1910s. The pattern, identified as Blue Bell in another photograph, appears to be executed with needlework knots, although it may have been tufted. The maker of this bedspread is unknown. The face of the image has several handwritten notes about modifying the design. The back of the photograph is stamped with "Allanstand Cottage Industries, Inc. 6 Government St., Asheville, N.C."
