This photograph depicts a fringed bedspread believed to have been sold through Allanstand Cottage Industries during the 1910s. The pattern, identified as Grape Vine, appears to use both tufting (for grapes) and needlework knots (for vines). The maker of this bedspread is unknown. The back of the photograph is stamped:"Allanstand Cottage Industries, Inc. 6 Government St. Asheville, N.C."
