Description

This fabric fragment was hand woven on a cotton warp with homespun linen thread around 1898. It is a plain, utilitarian weave in natural colors. Frances Goodrich added this to her collection at Allanstand, North Carolina, where she served as a Presbyterian missionary and founded Allanstand Cottage Industries.
