Description

This is a watercolored drawdown of the coverlet pattern called Alabama Beauty, created by Frances L. Goodrich. The use of graph paper indicates that this pattern was drawn later in her life, likely between 1920 and 1940. The draft strip from which this drawdown was created was originally given to Goodrich by Mrs. E. Walker [Elmeda Walker]. The draft strip is titled "Pine Burr Variation - Alabama Beauty - Mrs. Walker ." The word "corrected" shows that Goodrich changed the original drafting.
