Description
In this letter of October 7, 1946, Leonard Kephart (1892-1988) writes his mother, Laura Kephart to update her on his life. He tells her he got a raise when he returned form travelling for work and is passing it on to her. He says that Ralph has just invited him to come listen the Firestone Hour, and that Ralph and Jane had a fine time visiting with Gran-mama Kephart as Dicky calls her, and they are ready to move out into a place of their own. He is relieved to hear that Cornelia is doing better, and mentions that he has not seen George or his family since they moved to Chicago.
