She also talks about the Heritage Alive! Mountain Youth Talent Contest and a fundraiser to supply prizes. “It is Well with My Soul” accompanies her talk. Doreyl hosts Connie Sutter, an assistant to the manager of the craft gallery at the Stecoah Valley Center on Creative Corner. They discuss what is available at the gallery, the online store that the gallery has just opened and an upcoming festival that the center is preparing to host. “Lonesome John” by Dirk Powell and Tim O’Brien follows the interview. On Stories of Mountain Folk, Amy continues her talk with Evelyn Coltman of Bethel. This week they talk about the Bethel Rural Community Organization and the work the organization does to preserve local culture and heritage. The interview is followed by “Sweet Little Miss Blue Eyes” by Here Today. On Coming Around the Mountain, Sean talks with David Krenek, a fine arts major at Western Carolina University. He talks about how he chose to pursue art and how he approaches it. “Rock the Billy” by Southern Hues follows the interview. On Down Another Road, Judy once again talks with Susan Moore. This week they talk about cleanliness and hygiene as practiced by people in the mountains. “Don’t Let Your Deal Go Down” by Jim Greer follows the interview, and the show closes with “Shortnin’ Bread” by Ron Smith.
